First-Time Home Buyers

As a first-time home-buyer of a primary residence in Canada you are likely eligible to take advantage of three programs if you are living and purchasing in the province of British Columbia:

1) The Home Buyers’ Plan: You and any joint purchasers including a spouse can withdraw up to $25,000 from your RSP tax free and use the funds to put towards the down payment of your purchase (refer to the Home Buyer’s Plan website for details):
